Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information RKM Vault LLC ("RKM Vault", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

We are a California limited liability company at 2108 N St, Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816. For any privacy question or request, contact support@rkmvault.com.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: name, email address, password (stored only as a cryptographic hash — we never see or store your actual password)
• TradingView username: required to grant invite-only indicator access
• Trading experience level and product interest, provided at signup
• Referral code, if you arrive through an affiliate link
• Correspondence: messages you send us by email or in our community

Information collected automatically

• Usage and log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, generated by our hosting provider in the normal course of serving the site
• Referral attribution cookie: if you visit through an affiliate link, we store a cookie named rkm_ref containing only that affiliate's referral code, for up to 60 days, so the referral can be credited if you sign up. It contains no personal information and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Payment information

We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe collects and holds your card information directly under its own privacy policy. We receive only limited data such as the last four digits, card brand, subscription status, and billing country.

2. Why we use it

• To create and operate your account and authenticate you
• To deliver what you subscribed to, including granting indicator access on TradingView
• To process payments, renewals, and cancellations
• To send transactional email — welcome messages, access confirmations, renewal reminders, password resets, and service notices
• To provide customer support
• To credit affiliate referrals correctly
• To understand aggregate signup and usage patterns so we can improve the product
• To detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized sharing of licensed materials
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who need it to operate the business:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
• Railway — application hosting and database infrastructure
• Resend and Google Workspace — transactional and support email delivery
• TradingView — we submit your TradingView username to grant or revoke indicator access
• Discord — if you choose to join our community, your use of Discord is governed by Discord's own terms and privacy policy

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of RKM Vault, our members, or others.

What affiliates see

If you sign up through an affiliate's referral code, that affiliate is shown only aggregate, anonymized data — a count of signups, the date, the product interest, and subscription status. Affiliates are never shown your name, email address, or any information identifying you.

4. How long we keep it

We keep account information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legitimate business purposes such as tax records, dispute resolution, and enforcing our agreements. Financial and transaction records are retained as required by US tax law, generally seven years. You may request deletion as described below.

5. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in access-controlled managed infrastructure. Password reset links are single-use and expire. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated personal information
• Export your information in a portable format
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these, email support@rkmvault.com. We will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

California residents

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. California residents may exercise the rights listed above by contacting us at the address above.

7. Marketing email

Transactional email — account, billing, security, and service notices — is a necessary part of the service and cannot be opted out of while you hold an account. If we send promotional email, every message will include an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing will not affect your subscription or access.

8. International users

We operate in the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the service you consent to that transfer.

9. Children

The service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email to active subscribers and reflected in the effective date above.
